Sixth-Ranked Tigers Fire a 300 Today to Finish Second at Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling
Normal, Ill. - The sixth-ranked Tigers shot a 300 for today's top round and finished the two-round Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling with a 625 and just three shots behind champion Washington University.
Paige Gooch and Kelsey Smith each shot 74s today and each finished with a 153 and tied for third. Alexandria Ramirez was tied for eighth with a 157, while Sheinnera Gerongay was tied for 15th at 162 and Kenzlie Westerfield was tied for 41st with a 173. Playing as an individual, Brooke Hasler shot a 188.
Illinois Wesleyan's Katie Klosterman and Washington's Olivia Lugar shared the top spot as each shot a 150.
The Tigers return to action on April 26-27 when they host the first weekend of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships at Twin Bridges in Danville, Ind.
