Sixth-Ranked Tigers in Fourth Halfway Through Washington University Invitational

Madison, Ill. - Sixth-ranked DePauw shot an opening-round 314 and is in fourth among the 16 schools competing at the Washington University Spring Invitational at the Gateway National Golf Links.

Host Washington shot a 300 to lead the field, while William Woods is second at 306 and Rhodes third with a 308.

Paige Gooch is tied for seventh after shooting a 76, while Kelsey Smith is tied for ninth with a 77. Alexandria Ramirez shot a 79 to tie for 19th with Sheinnera Gerongay shooting and 82 and Brooke Hasler an 85. Playing as an individual, Kenzlie Westerfield finished with a 91.

Washington's Olivia Lugar and William Woods' Jodie Peacock each shot a 72 to lead the field.

The second and final round gets underway Sunday morning.
