Tigers Finish 18th at NCAA Championships; Christian Earns All-America

Elsah, Ill. - Paced by Paul Christian's all-America performance, 24th-ranked DePauw finished 18th at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships. The Tigers totaled 452 points, while North Central won with 57.

Christian finished 37th and covered the 8,000 meters in 24:57.27 to become DePauw's first all-America honoree since Noah Droddy in 2012. 

Polo Burguete was 92nd (25:27.46) followed by Zach Batt in 114th (25:34.65) and Cole Martin in 184th (25:56.22). Pierce Sheehan was 195th (26:04.27) with Kyle Munz in 261st (26:56.28) and Nick Meszaros in 265th (27:09.36).

Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Darin Lau won in 24:03.59.

In all, six males in program history have earned seven all-America honors with Droddy doing it twice.
