Nemeth's Second-Place Pole Vault Leads Tigers at Centre

Danville, Ky. - DePauw's Tyler Nemeth placed second in the pole vault to lead the Tigers at the Centre Invtiational. The Tigers totaled 29.5 points and finished 11th among the 17 schools as Case Western won with 122 and Ohio Northern was second at 103.5.

Nemeth cleared 3.95 meters to finish runner-up to Baldwin Wallace's Johnathon Spilker.

Zach Batt scored in a pair of events with a fourth in the 800 meters (1:56.98) and a seventh in the 1,500 meters (4:09.19). 

DePauw totaled seven points in the discus with Demarco Henry finishing third (41.93m) and Nate Baker eighth (38.60m).

Andrew Saunders collected a pair of points in the hammer with a seventh-place showing (43.39m), while Jordan Booker tied for eighth in the high jump (1.79m).

DePauw's 4x100 relay was ninth in 44.29 seconds with the 4x400 relay placing sixth in 3:26.29.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, April 8, when they host the DePauw Invitational.
