Wallace Racks Up Doubles and Singles Wins in Loss

Santa Barbara, Calif. -- DePauw traveled west and began their spring break with a 7-2 loss at Westmont (7-6) on Tuesday.

Nate Wallace won DePauw's two matches, taking No. 6 singles 6-3, 6-1 and teaming up with Harold Martin to take No. 3 doubles 8-6.

DePauw did not have much luck elsewhere against the 12th ranked team in the NAIA. In doubles play, the No. 1 team of Patrick Farrell and John Daseke lost 8-4, and the No. 2 team of Dan Rodefeld and Matt Santen lost 9-8 (7-5).

In singles action, Rodefeld and Santen lost 6-2, 6-3 at the one and two flights respectively. Farrell lost in three sets 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.

The Tigers (4-6) will look to rebound Wednesday when they take on Williams.
