Greencastle, Ind.- Five DePauw men's tennis student-athletes were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference teams as voted on by the conference's head coaches.
Individually, Kopecky is making his first appearance on the first team after earning second team selections the past two seasons. He posted a 20-7 overall record going 5-2 at number-one singles and 7-3 in the number-two position.
Miles is making his third straight appearance on the first team after posting a 21-10 record this season, going 10-5 in number-one singles and 4-3 in number-two singles.
The duo of Kopecky and Miles went 20-4 overall on their way to a second straight first team selection after being a second team selection in 2012. In number-one doubles the pairing posted an impressive 17-3 record including a 4-0 NCAC record.
Sophomore Alec Kaczkowski (University City, Mo./University City) and freshman Patrick Farrell (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) earned honorable mention honors in singles, while the doubles pairing of Kaczkowski and junior Eric Vannatta (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) earned second team honors.
Kaczkowski had an overall record of 17-7 with a 4-1 mark in number-three singles and a 6-2 record in number-four singles. Farrell went 9-14 on the year with a 4-8 record in the number-three singles slot.
The pairing of Kaczkowski and Vannatta had an overall record of 14-7 with a 14-6 mark in number-two doubles including a 4-0 conference record.
DePauw finished second at the NCAC Tournament for the second straight season after posting a 4-0 record in the conference's West Division. The Tigers finished the regular season at 15-7 and will have to wait on a possible NCAA at-large berth that will be announced on Monday, May 5.
