Greencastle, Ind. - The 23rd-ranked Tigers improved to 13-6 overall and finished North Coast Athletic Conference West Division play at 4-0 following a 7-2 win over visiting Denison. The Big Red dropped to 12-6 overall and 3-1 in NCAC West play.
The Tigers swept the doubles play as the number-one tandem of Sam Miles and Ben Kopecky were 8-3 winners over Juan Guerra and Grant Veltman and the second doubles team of Eric Vannatta and Alec Kaczkowski defeated Casey Cempre and Andrew Marczak by an 8-2 score. Patrick Farrell and Harold Martin collected an 8-4 victory over Jackson O'Gorman-Bean and Jeffrey LoDuca to round out the sweep.
Miles was a 6-1, 6-4 winner at first singles over Guerra, while Kaczkowski took a 7-6 (7-1), 6-0 win over Cempre at the third spot. Chris Bertolini topped O'Gorman-Bean at fifth singles by a 6-2, 6-3 count and Eric Bruynseels took a 7-5, 6-2 triumph over Graham Gettle at the sixth spot.
DePauw returns to action April 25-27 at the NCAC Tournament in Granville, Ohio.
