DePauw Blanks Rose-Hulman; Improves to 5-2

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw improved to 5-2 on the season after topping visiting Rose-Hulman by a 9-0 score. The Engineers dropped to 0-2 with the defeat.

Ben Kopecky and Sam Miles defeated Brandon Benedict and Georges Adam by an 8-2 count at first doubles, while Eric Vannatta and Alec Kaczkowski were 8-3 winners over Nate Moore and Matthew Conrad at second doubles. The third doubles tandem of Nick Thompson and Patrick Ferrell completed the sweep with an 8-2 triumph over Ray Montgomery and Joe Kendall.

Kopecky, Miles, Kaczkowski, Eric Bruynseels, Thompson and Matt Santen each collected straight-set win sin singles to wrap up the match.

DePauw hosts Wittenberg tomorrow in a 10:30 a.m. North Coast Athletic Conference West Division match.
