#23 Ohio Northern Hands Tigers Double Overtime Loss

Ada, Ohio - DePauw took a 2-0 lead into the intermission, but host Ohio Northern scored twice in the opening 16 minutes of the second half and knock in the game winner with 4:57 left in the second overtime for a 3-2 win over the Tigers.

Andy Morrison scored at 33:00 on Zach Hoffman's assist and then added a second score with just 40 seconds remaining in the half with Alieu Musa assisting. 

Matt Kinkopf's header off of a corner just 6:50 into the second half cut the lead in half and Kinkopf tied the contest nine minutes later on Grant Cayot's assist.

Austin Horton nailed the decisive score as Keegan Ross assisted.

The Tigers held a 19-17 advantage in shots, including 9-7 in shots on goal. Ohio Northern led in corners, 8-5,  while DePauw totaled 15 fouls to the Polar Bears' 10.

Jake Pezzuto had four saves for DePauw with Ohio Northern's Evan Bader stopping seven shots.

Morrison's two goals lifted his career total to 38 which ranks third in a DePauw career.

The Tigers travel to Franklin on Wednesday, September 3, for a 7:30 p.m. contest with the Grizzlies.
