DePauw Moves to 7-5 with Win at Hiram

Hiram, Ohio - DePaw moved to 7-5 overall and 2-4 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 17-8 win at Hiram. The Terriers dropped to 2-9 overall and 0-7 in conference play.

Hiram scored just 54 seconds into the contest, but the Tigers scored four times in the final six minutes of the opening period to take the lead for good.

Steen Jorgensen led the Tigers with six goals, while Ben Sherman and William Dorger added three apiece. Sherman chipped in three assists in the win. Evan Pinney and Nick Rollason each had three goals for the Terriers.

Charlie Robson stopped 10 Hiram shots in goal for the Tigers with Connor Patterson totaling a pair of saves. Liam Osborne had 11 saves for Hiram.

DePauw held a 56-26 edge in shots and 30-23 in ground balls while committing 11 turnovers to Hiram's 15. The Tigers also won 14 of the 26 faceoffs.

Joe Garvey led the way with seven ground balls with Alex Randall adding five. Jared Wright had four of Hiram's ground balls.

DePauw wraps up the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday, April 18, when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan at 5 p.m.
