Memphis, Tenn. - DePauw and Rhodes battled through over 98 minutes of scoreless play before the 20th-ranked Tigers' Paige Henry delivered the game winner with just 1:23 left in the second overtime.
The Tigers improved to 2-0 with the win, while the Lynx dropped to 1-1.
DePauw outshot Rhodes 16-8 for the game including a 12-2 edge in shots on goal. The Tigers also held a 21-6 margin in penalty corners and had seven in the first overtime alone.
Maggie Steele stopped two shots in recording the shutout for DePauw, while Erin Bailey totaled 11 saves for the Lynx.
The 2-0 start is the first for the Tigers since the 2010 season and just the second in the last 10 seasons.
DePauw opens the home portion of its schedule on Saturday, September 6, when it hosts fourth-ranked Christopher Newport at Noon.
