Senior first baseman Connor Einertson (Ballwin, Mo.) earned North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week honors after hitting safely in all four games last weekend against Wittenberg to extend his hitting streak to 10.
Einertson had three multi-hit games in the series, which the two teams split for 2-2 records in the NCAC West. The first baseman went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate in both Sunday wins. In the four games combined, he hit .667 (8-for-12) with one home run, four runs scored and four RBI.
The weekend series brought his average up to .273 on the season. He has also hit two home runs with 14 RBI and 12 runs scored on the season.
The Tigers are 11-9 overall and will look to improve that record next weekend in a four-game series at Denison.
