Greencastle, Ind.- Sophomore first baseman Connor Einertson (Ballwin, Mo./Westminster Christian) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week after helping the Tigers reach the NCAC Baseball Tournament with three wins over Oberlin last weekend.
Einertson erupted at the plate in the final week of the regular season hitting .667 (12-for-18) with four homers and one double. He had a 1.389 slugging percentage with 14 RBI, scoring seven runs and drawing four walks.
In DePauw's 13-6 win over Oberlin in game two of the NCAC cross-over series, Einertson went 3-for-5 at the plate with two home runs and five RBI.
Einertson will look to stay hot as the Tigers head to the conference tournament starting Thursday in Chillicothe, Ohio. DePauw plays Wooster in game one starting at 4:00 p.m.
